NAIROBI Michael Carrick Manchester United Jersey , June 6 -- Kenya is set to host the third edition of China Week Kenya from June 29 to July 1, organizers said on Tuesday.

MIE Events International Events Director Michelle Meyrick told a media briefing in Nairobi that the three-day event will be a business to business trade show featuring Chinese manufacturing companies looking to connect with local and regional firms in Africa.

"It will be an opportunity for the local community to develop direct trading links with high-end Chinese product manufacturers," Meyrick said.

She noted that the event will provide a trade environment that will be conducive to creating stronger ties between Chinese companies and the local business community looking to source for products and services from China.

According to the organizers, there will be 450 exhibitors from a range of industries including building construction, lighting, consumer electronics, auto parts, furniture, textiles, stationary and jewelry.

In 2016, the event brought together 400 exhibitors and over 16,500 visitors. Similar events will also be held in Ghana, South Africa, and Ethiopia.

Meyrick said that the exhibition is the only comprehensive China-focused trade event to be hosted in East Africa.

MIE Events Managing Director David Wang said that Kenya is the most developed economy in Eastern Africa and also the economic, commercial and logistic hub of the entire region.

"Sino-Kenya cooperation in various fields has gained momentum over the years, and it is the very reason why we are holding the China Trade Week in Nairobi for the third time," Wang said.

He noted that the exhibition will provide an opportunity for Kenyan entrepreneurs to grow strong business partnerships with Chinese companies and also benefit from the industrial capacity and wealth of knowledge from China.

LeBron James poured in 49 points to lead the Miami Heat to a 102-96 victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Monday (US time), putting the two-time defending champions one win away from reaching the Eastern Conference finals.

A three-point shot from the corner by Chris Bosh snapped a 94-94 tie with 57 seconds to go in a seesaw struggle of a fourth quarter and Ray Allen made four critical free throws to ice the win.

The tense fourth quarter featured six lead changes and four ties before the visiting Heat pulled away in the final minute.

The victory gave Miami a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven series with a chance to clinch it at home in game five on Wednesday.

After losing Saturday's game three to Brooklyn at the Barclays -Center, James carried the Heat on his broad shoulders, tying his career playoff scoring high by hitting 16-of-24 shots including a trio of three-pointers, and going 14-of-19 from the free-throw line in the bruising, physical contest.

Teammate Dwyane Wade added 15 points.

One thing that failed to go James' way was a miss on his final free throw, with one second left on the clock. That got him muttering to himself as he fell just short of the half-century mark and a career playoff scoring best.

"That's the first time I've been disappointed with myself in a win," James, who played every minute of the second half, said with a grin. "It doesn't take away from a win, but that's a free throw and I hate to miss free throws.

"Scoring 50 in a playoff game would have been pretty cool."

Joe Johnson led a balanced Nets -attack with 18 points, with Paul Pierce contributing 16 as five Brooklyn players scored in double figures.

In the West, the Portland Trail -Blazers kept their season alive for at least one more game with a 103-92 home victory over San Antonio to prevent a semifinal sweep at the hands of the top-seeded Spurs.

Having been outclassed in the first three games, Portland came alive to cut the best-of-seven series deficit to 3-1 but still face a mountainous task to avoid elimination.

Damian Lillard recorded 25 points and five assists for his best game of the second round, while Nicolas Batum put up 14 points, 14 rebounds and eight -assists.

Batum also played tough defense on fellow Frenchman Tony Parker, who led San Antonio with 14 points, his lowest scoring outing of the series.

Tim Duncan got 12 points and nine rebounds for San Antonio but the Spurs' starters played limited minutes as the game got away from them.

The series shifts back to San Antonio for game five on Wednesday where the Spurs will be confident of wrapping up proceedings in front of their home fans.

BEIJING, March 15 (Xinhua) -- Riding on rising populism, the far-right Party for Freedom (PVV) led by populist Geert Wilders joins the hunt for the throne as the largest party in the Netherlands on Wednesday, in a high-stake election that might shape the future of European integration and globalization at large.

As the start of a series of campaigns this year in European Union (EU) member states, including France, Germany and possibly Italy, the Dutch election could be a barometer of populism's impact across the continent.

Many analysts believe that, should the PVV become the largest party in the lower house, the Netherlands would be the next domino tile toppling in the European and even global trend of populism, following Brexit and Donald Trump's election as the U.S. president.

Historically speaking, populism is hardly a stranger to human society. If there is any catalyst behind its recent surge across the West, it should be the cocktail made of the drawbacks of globalization and the poor performance of the Establishment in dealing with financial and immigrant crises.

However, the rationality of the upward momentum of populism does not automatically justify its va. Cheap Blackhawks Jerseys   Cheap Avalanche Jerseys   Cheap Florida Panthers Jerseys   Cheap Team Finland Hockey Jerseys   Wholesale Czech Republic Hockey Jerseys   Wholesale USA Hockey Jerseys   Wholesale Russia Hockey Jerseys   Wholesale Oilers Jerseys   Wholesale Kings Jerseys   Wholesale Winnipeg Jets Jerseys
